Andrew Waterman BSc (Hons) BArch MSc MAPM RIBA
Andrew is highly experienced property professional specialising in the delivery of new build, renovation and refurbishment projects across a number of sectors within the property and construction industry. He has operated at senior levels within, large multidisciplinary organisations, project management consultancies and provided interim management solutions within client organisations before deciding to harness this expertise and form Waterman Project Management.
With a clear understanding of the entire development and construction process, a proven track record and an open minded and proactive approach, he has worked effectively at all levels with Clients and project teams at both strategic and project delivery levels on projects ranging in value from £50K to £120M on a broad range of projects. Since qualifying as an architect Andrew has specialised in project management following undertaking an MSc in the subject and remains passionate about improving the built environment for people.
He retains a strong interest in architecture and all aspects of design drawing on this experience to aid the development process and is a strongly believes that innovative design does not need to be expensive. The workplace remains close to his heart and is committed to improving this for Clients given the amount of time we spend in the working environment and he remains an advocate of refurbishing and remodelling existing buildings where possible to improve their functionality and efficiency and that we should be building flexible adaptive and responsive architecture.
Outside of work Andrew enjoys motor sport and sailing where being at the helm is an excellent place to implement project management and leadership skills in order to motivate a new crew in what can sometime be a challenging environment.
